Walk With Christ In Crisis

Fear, it’s the popular emotion in the world right now. Followed up by selfishness. It may be a time of uncertainty, but it is also the time of FAITH. This is a time of generous giving. We should be selfless in times of crisis and not selfish. A person’s true spirit shows in times of panic and chaos, so what is your spirit? Are you taking more than you need? Are you living in kindness? Are you watching every news channel to hear how much worse it has gotten? Maybe you are too afraid to admit it, did you leave the starting line without God and forgot that HE is your coach.?WHERE IS YOUR FAITH? WHERE IS YOUR PEACE? No media, government or new study can do it. As a follower our peace comes from our father and our father says “ For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”

Let the church be a sanctuary for peace and giving. Let the church remain strong and not moved, this is what the church is called out to do. Turn off the media, put your phone down and turn away from the fear they want to put into you. You have the spirit of God dwelling in you, the spirit of the church, so if you doubt anything doubt the reckless. Isolation will not keep us from being a church, isolation will not keep us from praying for the world. Everything can change when praying never stops. I’m not talking about the pretty soft prayers, I’m talking about the hard spoken prayers on your knees, the ones that make sickness disappear and the enemy flee, the prayers that are made into worship songs and the Holy Spirit comes. The prayers that can’t keep an eye dry and turn our tears into hope. Let us raises a Hallelujah in this storm. Walk with Christ in the crisis. May you be is HIS favor, may your family be in health and in HIS grace.

PRAYER FOR CHANGE

Lord may my family and I be in your favor, may we be covered in your grace. Help us find our peace in this time. We feel fear, anxiety, worry and uncertainty at this time. But we know that you are good and working for us even when we can’t see it. Please be the light in this time and the comfort in our hearts.

Let his favor be upon you, and his spirit dwell within you.
— Shantel Dormady

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.”

-2 Timothy 1:7-9

A LITTLE WORSHIP NEVER HURT

May God cover you and your family in his arms. May he bring you peace and comfort. We may not understand but we can be certain he is working for you. He is doing things we do not see, he is moving for us. I pray you let go of your panic and fear and grasp onto what we do know, that God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. May this song be your faithful call.
