God said, Stop Arguing
This one is for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s time to take back the words God spoke and hold onto them when society tries to take them from us. I’ll be honest I’m not a very “modern women” as some may call it. What I see in today’s society is constant attack to everything we believe in. My generation has created many positive changes into society but it has also forgotten and ignored God’s words. Every truth God spoke, every word Jesus said is now taken as insults to those who believe differently. Homophobic, transphobic, small minded, antifeminist, outdated beliefs, that’s just some of the names we are labeled. I’ve had enough of Christians being attacked because we speak truth, I’m tired of seeing us hide into the dark scared to say our beliefs outloud because social media trolls will move mountains to destroy us. Christians are being persecuted, Christains are being told to abandon “out dated beliefs”. But the word of God is never outdated. Times may have changed but the word didn’t. You can say you believe in God all you want but not knowing his word, and attacking HIS people does not show your love for him.
I want people to see you can be progressive but still hold the words of God in today’s times. You can support pro life while still understanding some people have different situations then you do. We can believe marriage is between a man and women but still support that love is love. We can see two same sex parents and know they will raise up a good child. We can believe God makes no mistakes when creating us but understand some people suffer emotionally not feeling comfortable in their own skin. We know gender is a real thing and no matter the change on the outside the inside can not be changed, but we can still say ALL people deserve to be treated equal and allowed to live the life they choose. We are not sin monitors so stop acting like it. We are here to preach God’s words not pass judgement. Some of you may be reading this judging me for being Christian writing this because you believe in controlling people, and the other half of you are judging me saying I’m homophobic or a monster because I don’t believe what you believe. Truthfully that used to bother me but it doesn’t anymore. It doesn’t bother me because none of you are qualified to pass judgement. Your opinion of me does not define who I am. My Father’s does. He sees my heart and knows there isn’t an inch of hate in it, not for the ones who hurt me or the ones who judge me.
We shouldn’t bite our tongues and we shouldn’t be afraid to speak up, but we should also know when an argument won’t be won. As for me I will continue to speak truth and light, and not argue with those who want to take my grace away. I have a new motto for awhile now and that’s “GOD SAID IT SO I’M NOT GOING TO ARGUE ABOUT IT.” That’s not me closing myself off to progressiveness that’s me saying “your words are not greater than God’s so stop thinking they are”. That’s me protecting my peace and character. Everyone should feel free to live their life as they please without hurting others. If you are living a Christian life of hurting and condemning others YOU ARE WRONG, if you are a liberal dismissing anyone who does not think like you, YOU ARE WRONG. Love each other as I have loved you John 15:12. It’s that simple, it’s that easy. Different minds does not make you enemies and hearing the truth is not an offense.
PRAYER FOR CHANGE
Father let me not become those who judge others for their sins because I too sin. Let me not be blinded by my love for you and attack others. May I become a comfort and not a thorn. I want to see people as you see them not society. Protect me from society way of thinking and even if people do not believe what I believe make it that I do not take it as an attack. May the world celebrates differences and above all love each other. Lord Jesus come and fix the hearts of those who cause hurt with their beliefs and heal the ones who have been hurt. Amen.

A little worship never hurt
I believe music is therapy it can take us in a whirl of emotions and bring revolution some of us can’t find in scripture, or by reading.
